Pronghorn Antelope Hunts

While these hunts are often conducted from a ground blind, make no mistake—this is no easy hunt. Late-August days can be long, and if we’re lucky, it will be hot. After a solid breakfast each morning, you’ll be dropped off to hunt all day, either over active waterholes or decoying during the peak of the rut. You’ll be provided with a sack lunch and a cooler full of water, allowing you to stay in the field during prime movement. We recommend wearing dark, long-sleeved shirts or lightweight layers to stay concealed inside the blind, along with mid-weight pants for comfort throughout the day. Some hunters choose lighter clothing options in the afternoons as temperatures rise, but concealment and patience remain the keys to success.

South Dakota Wild Pheasant Hunts

We pride ourselves on offering access to one of the last true wild pheasant and upland bird hunting areas in South Dakota—country we grew up hunting and know intimately. These hunts take place across multiple working farms, each offering its own piece of pheasant and upland heaven. While pheasants are the primary focus, it’s common to encounter coveys of sharp-tailed grouse and Hungarian partridge, adding to the excitement of every day afield. The ground is classic South Dakota upland habitat, consisting of rolling CRP, lush waterways, tree rows, weedy fence lines, and thick cattail sloughs that hold birds all season long. We supply experienced dog power, but hunters are welcome and encouraged to bring their own canine companions if they wish.

Merriam’s Turkey Hunts

Our fully guided Merriam’s turkey hunts offer an exciting and well-organized spring experience. You’ll arrive the evening before your hunt to settle into your room, sign waivers, enjoy dinner in town, and review the plan for the following morning. Each morning begins in a ground blind, often within earshot—and sometimes even in sight—of a roost tree, a sure sign the sun is coming up once again. We typically hunt all day, staying in the field with sack lunches provided and taking breaks in or near the blind to stay close to the action. Hunts usually wrap up in the late afternoon, giving everyone time to rest and recharge for the next day.

White Tail Deer Hunts

Hunters arrive the evening before their hunt to meet with us, get settled, and enjoy dinner at one of the many local restaurants. That evening, we’ll go over the plan for the hunt and let you know pickup times for the following morning. For archery whitetail hunts, we typically hunt mornings and afternoons. Morning hunts are conducted sparingly and only from select blinds or stands to minimize pressure on the deer. During rifle hunts, hunters can expect to be in the field most of the day. Whether hunting from a blind or spot-and-stalk hunting, we provide a packed lunch so you can stay in the field and be ready when the opportunity presents itself.
